Indiana State Police say a semi-driver sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound Thursday afternoon while driving on I-65 six miles south of Roselawn. Troopers say it happened about 4:45 last night on the southbound side of the interstate near the 224 mile-marker and the interstate had to be shut down for a time while a helicopter was brought in to fly the victim to a hospital in Indianapolis. The trucker’s status is unknown. Troopers say all lanes were re-opened by about eight last night. Indiana State Police ask you contact them if you know anything about the shooting.
